Heather Maynard is an educational leader, consultant, and advocate with over two decades of experience spanning classroom instruction, district administration, and systems-level reform. Her expertise bridges curriculum and instruction, special education, English learner services, and compliance-driven design, all anchored in equity and sustainable improvement.
Heather has led district-wide initiatives focused on instructional improvement, curriculum audits, and data-driven reform. She has overseen federal funding allocations (Title I–IV), managed teaching and learning budgets, and collaborated with principals and central office leaders to turn strategic plans into lasting practice. Her work emphasizes building coherent systems that endure beyond any single role or initiative.
Her areas of expertise include MTSS design, literacy and math intervention systems, culturally responsive instruction, and integration of special education and ELL supports within standards-aligned curricula. She has developed adult-focused professional learning, instructional coaching models, and data practices that prioritize inquiry over compliance.
Heather also serves as a Visiting Team Lead for NEASC, evaluating instructional quality, resource allocation, and equity practices for school accreditation. This role deepens her ability to assess systems and guide districts in meeting both compliance and mission-driven goals.
